I've developed modeling software to show cost/savings benefits for typical homes here in the U.S. With 25-year guaranteed panels, at first the utility savings is about the same as the extra payments for the loan on the panels, but after a 10-year loan is paid, and as utility costs per kWh continue to rise at over 4% annually, the savings become immense! I wish more people understood this.
